Emma Chamberlain is 21-year-old creator who rose to fame in 2018 for her YouTube haul videos. Chamberlain won the 2018 Streamy Award for Breakout Creator. In 2019, she was featured on Time magazine’s Time 100 Next list and also on its list of The 25 Most Influential People On The Internet.

That same year, Chamberlain launched her first weekly podcast series, Anything Goes, which won the Best Podcaster award at the 12th Shorty Awards.

The famous internet personality has many sponsorships and has been an ambassador for Louis Vuitton since 2019 and Cartier since 2022.

Chamberlain uses her YouTube channel, which currently has 11.9 million subscribers, to grow her brand and stay connected with her audience.

In September 2022, the young star bought her first home in Beverly Hills for a whopping $3.9 million. She did a home tour with Architectural Digest, and the internet instantly became obsessed with the mansion.

This year has proven to be one for the books for Chamberlain because not only did she purchase her first home at just 21 years old, but now she’s inked an exclusive deal with Spotify for her podcast.

Anything Goes with Emma

In 2019, Chamberlain launched her podcast called Stupid Genus. Just 10 months after launching, she decided that she wanted to rebrand. That’s when she rebranded to Anything Goes With Emma Chamberlain.

On her podcast, the creator likes to share her thoughts on any and everything, hence the She sometimes records from the comfort of her bed and talks at length about whatever is on her mind every week. Sometimes she philosophizes, tells a a random story from years ago, and even sometimes gives advice. You never know what you will get, but according to her listeners, that’s what keeps it interesting. New episodes are released every Thursday unless sometimes a few days late.

One thing that sets the creator’s podcast apart from others is how she includes her listeners. Chamberlain sometimes tweets the topic each week before recording the episode and allows fans to ask questions or send in voicemails based on that topic. Each episode is formatted in a way that begins with Chamberlain introducing the topic and providing stories based on her personal experiences. Then she goes into answering questions that were tweeted and voicemails that were sent in. This allows for collaboration and inclusion, which allows her listeners to look forward to her show each week.

Spotify deal

Chamberlain recently told Variety that she’s been listening to Spotify since she was 14, so she probably couldn’t be more ecstatic to sign with the multi-billion dollar streaming platform.

Under a multiyear contract with Chamberlain, beginning in early 2023, Spotify will become the exclusive home for her podcast, including all back-catalog episodes and future installments. In addition to this, certain new episodes on Spotify will be released as video podcasts, which the company said will “take Emma back to her vlogging roots.”

Emma had this to say about the new partnership:

“Spotify has played a huge role in developing my love and passion for podcasts and music, and I am consistently wowed by the way the platform continues to evolve,” Chamberlain said in a statement provided to Variety. “I couldn’t be more honored to be their exclusive partner, and work together to allow ‘Anything Goes’ to blossom in ways it couldn’t have anywhere else.
